About Miramar Forklift
We’re a locally run forklift company in San Diego, CA. For more than 17 years, we have sold, rented, repaired, and maintained forklifts for businesses across San Diego County from our shop on Miramar Place.
- About Us
We Move San Diego's Warehouses Forward.
Miramar Forklift started with a simple idea. San Diego businesses need a forklift partner who answers the phone, knows the equipment, and stands behind every unit after the sale. National chains offer big catalogs, but they rarely know your building, your loads, or the history of the machine you’re running. We do.
Today, we work with warehouses, distribution centers, manufacturers, construction crews, and small businesses from Sorrento Valley to the South Bay. We sell new and used forklifts, rent equipment for peaks and projects, repair all major brands, and train operators. Whether you need one forklift for a week or a fleet you rely on every day, one local team handles it.
Years of excellence.
Our Vision
Every San Diego business should have access to well-maintained forklifts and honest equipment advice, without the downtime and guesswork that come with unreliable machines.
Our Mission
We recommend the forklift your operation actually needs, keep it running with skilled repair and planned maintenance, and treat every customer like a long-term partner, not a one-time sale.

Common questions from San Diego businesses about renting, buying, and servicing forklifts with us.
Miramar Forklift is located at 8615 Miramar Place, San Diego, CA 92121, in the Miramar industrial area off Miramar Road. We are open Monday through Friday, 7 AM to 4 PM. Call ahead if you plan to inspect a specific used forklift.
A local dealer usually knows your equipment history, keeps the same technicians on your account, and can reach your facility without routing through a regional dispatch center. National rental companies offer large fleets but rarely handle sales, repair, maintenance, and buy-back under one roof.
Yes. We deliver and pick up rental and purchased forklifts throughout San Diego County, from Oceanside and Carlsbad to El Cajon, Chula Vista, and Otay Mesa. Ask about delivery for your location when you request a quote so it is included upfront.
Have your heaviest load weight, highest storage level, aisle width, floor surface, indoor or outdoor use, and daily operating hours ready. For rentals, add your start date and expected duration. These details let Miramar Forklift quote the right machine the first time.
Yes. Many of our San Diego customers run one forklift, and a single-machine operation has the most to lose when it breaks down. Small businesses get the same equipment advice, repair service, and maintenance scheduling we provide to larger warehouse fleets.
