- Forklift for Rent
Forklift Rentals in San Diego
Rent a forklift to cover a seasonal surge, a warehouse move, a construction phase, or a machine that’s in for repair. Renting also lets you test a model in your own aisles before you buy. If a rental runs long enough that buying would cost less, we’ll show you the numbers. Tell us your load, lift height, and project length, and we’ll match the rental to the job.
- Forklift for Sale
Forklift Sales in San Diego
We sell new and used forklifts matched to your load weight, lift height, aisle width, and daily hours. New forklifts suit full-shift work and operations that need a manufacturer warranty. Our technicians inspect and service every used unit, and we disclose its hours and condition upfront.

- Forklift Repair
Forklift Repair Services in San Diego
When a forklift goes down, your dock stops moving. Our technicians repair electric, propane, and diesel forklifts from all major brands at your San Diego facility or in our Miramar shop. We trace engine, fuel system, electrical, battery, brake, and hydraulic faults to the root cause before replacing parts, because swapping components until a symptom clears is the most expensive way to fix a machine.
- Forklift Maintenance
Forklift Maintenance Services in San Diego
Most forklift breakdowns start as small problems that routine service would have caught. Our planned maintenance covers visual inspections, operational checks, lubrication, brakes, fluids, and battery care on a schedule built around your operating hours. For San Diego fleets, including mixed-brand fleets, we keep detailed service records for every unit, so you know what each forklift costs to run and when it is due.

- Frequently Asked Questions
Quick Answers, Quick Solutions.
Common questions from San Diego businesses about renting, buying, and servicing forklifts with us.
For most San Diego operations, the deciding factor is hours of use. A forklift working most of every shift usually costs less to own. Seasonal peaks, short projects, and coverage during a major repair usually cost less to rent.
Electric suits indoor warehouses, food handling, and cold storage because they produce no exhaust. Propane works indoors and out with fast cylinder swaps but needs ventilation inside. Diesel belongs outdoors, in lumber yards, construction sites, and rough paved lots.
No. Under Cal/OSHA Title 8, Section 3668, your employer certifies that each operator was trained and evaluated, records the dates and trainer, and re-evaluates performance at least every three years. Refresher training is required after accidents, near misses, or unsafe operation.
Yes. Miramar Forklift repairs electric, propane, and diesel forklifts from all major manufacturers, including Toyota, Crown, Hyster, Yale, Raymond, Nissan, Caterpillar, Komatsu, and Mitsubishi. Brand matters less than diagnosis, so our technicians trace the fault before replacing parts.
Yes. Miramar Forklift buys used forklifts from San Diego County businesses. Have the make, model, year, fuel type, hour meter reading, and capacity ready, plus photos of the mast, tires, and data plate. Known faults should be disclosed upfront for an accurate offer.
